Tutorial written for PSP 9, any version will work though.
Filters Used:
Eye Candy 4- Gradient Glow (Optional)
Supplies:
Tube of choice
Scraptkit of choice.
The scrap kit I am using is called
A Lil Romance by
Queen Brat Designs.
This kit can be purchased at
Taggers Scraps.
Word art of choice or the wordart by Roxanne.
Mask of choice or the mask by Jojo.
Both are included in the
supplies.
Ready?
Open the supplies
and minimize for later.
New image 700 x 700
(You can crop later.)
Flood fill white.
Open your frame of choice
resize and then
paste into the center of your canvas.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_frame01.
Select your magic wand,
Tolerance- 15
Feather- 0
and select the area inside the frame.
Selections- Modify- Expand by 10.
Choose a paper of choice,
resize and then
copy and paste underneath your frame layer.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_paper10.
Selections-Invert
Hit the delete key once,
Do not deselect!
Open a border of choice,
resize and paste beneath your frame.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_border01.
Arrange at the top of your frame,
Selections- Invert
Hit the delete key once.
Selections- Select None.
Duplicate your border layer,
Image-Flip.
Duplicate.
Image-Rotate-Free Rotate by 90 degrees left.
Make sure that 'Rotate single layer
around canvas center' is checked!
Duplicate. Image-Mirror.
If they're all aligned correctly,
hide your background, paper and frame,
merge visible.
Open a beaded bracket or frame,
resize to just a little bigger than your frame.
Paste below your paper layer.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_frame09.
Open a wrap of choice.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_wrap08.
Resize as needed, and then paste onto the bottom corner of your frame.
Image-Mirror.
Open a flower of choice.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_rose02.
Resize as needed, and then paste ontop of the knot on your wrap.
Open a heart ribbon of choice,
I used QBD_ALilRomance_heartribbon06.
Resize and paste underneath your flower,
arrange so that it is centered under your flower.
Grab your eraser tool and erase any bits of ribbon
that show outside of your flower.
Open another flower of choice.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_flowerspray02.
Resize as needed, and then paste underneath your wrap.
Open your tube of choice,
paste underneath your wrap layer,
and position in the center of your frame.
Open a doodle or shape.
I used QBD_ALilRomance_glitterdoodle01.
Arrange at the top of your frame,
then drag to just above your background layer.
Duplicate. Image-Mirror.
Merge the two together.
Duplicate. Image-Flip.
Add a drop shadow to all of your layers.
V&H- 0
Opacity- 70
Blur- 5
Add your wordart,
and then position on the bottom of your frame.
Open another paper of choice,
I used QBD_ALilRomance_paper05,
so that it was a little darker than everything else.
Apply your mask of choice.
Or the mask I included by Jojo...
Right click your mask layer,
merge group.
Resize mask by 90% smart size.
Add your name,
and copyright information.
Add the optional thick gradient glow of choice to your name and wordart.
Crop and resize as needed.
Save as .jpg or .png
and you are done!!!
