Tutorial written for PSP 9, any version will work though.
Filters Used:
EyeCandy 4- Gradient Glow (Optional)
Supplies:
Closeup of choice.
Mask of choice.
Scrap kit of choice,
Scraptkit I used is by Nicole Gregory of Simply Iresistible Designz,
a member of the Creative Scraps
store.
This kit is called Retro Love.
Open a new image 700x700
(You can crop later.)
Flood fill white.
If you are using the Retro Love (RL) kit, this tut will be a breeze for you.
Open a triple frame of choice,
I used the RetroLove-SID-Frame1 from the RL kit.
Resize and paste onto your canvas.
Open a patterned paper from your kit,
I used paper 9 of RL.
Resize and paste onto your canvas.
Grab your magic wand
Tolerance-15
Feather- 0
Click inside the boxes of the tripleframe.
Make sure to get the little parts too!
Selections- Modify- Expand by 5 pixels
Selections-Invert
Hit the delete key once.
Do not deselect!
Open your closeup of choice,
paste into the center frame.
Hit the delete key once.
Paste again into the right frame,
hit the delete key once.
Now, on the actual tube image,
the one with the credits and where you bought it,
Image-Mirror.
Copy and paste this into the left frame,
hit the delete key once.
Selections-Select None.
Hide everything but your three closeups,
merge visible,
and then change the properties to Luminance.
Open a puddle ribbon of choice,
I used RetroLove-SID-Ribbon1.
Resize by 50% smart size,
the paste onto the corner of your frame.
Duplicate. Image-Mirror.
Arrange the puddle on the frame again.
Finally, open a love ribbon charm of choice.
I used RetroLove-SID-LoveRibbon1.
Resize by 50% smart size,
then paste over the knot on your frame.
(If it has one. If not add a wrap yourself.)
Grab your eraser tool,
set to eclipse,
and erase the ribbon overhangs leaving the knot.
This gives it a look like the charm and ribbon are the same.
Choose another paper from your kit.
I used paper 1 from RL.
Resize and paste above your background layer.
Apply mask of choice,
resizing the mask by 85% smart size.
Add your name,
using the same paper that you used for the tut,
as a fill. Black stroke color.
Add an optional gradient glow.
Add your copyright.
Save as .jpg or .png
And your done!!
